With this branded sprout jar from Eschenfelder you can easily grow sprouts without soil. The slanted positioning of the glass ensures that the sprouts remain fresh as excess water can drain away (avoiding waterlogging). Air also circulates through the fine-mesh sieve. The seeds are soaked in the sprouting jar, rinsed and grown until harvest.
Note: Not suitable for slime-forming seeds (e.g. cress, rocket, mustard, linseed) that require “resting soil”. cress sieve is suitable for this .
Please note: The sprout glasses currently have a rounded shape, which differs slightly from what is shown in the pictures.

Tip: Color changes in the stainless steel sieve are not rust (!), but rather due to the essential oils in the sprouts. Strong yellowish discoloration can occur, especially with fenugreek. These residues can be easily removed with washing soda (available in the dm market).
