Sprouts soaked for too long

Basically it doesn't do anything to the seeds. Many varieties don't mind if they're soaked for an hour or two longer. However, the germination rate decreases. For some varieties this is barely noticeable, but if you feel like your current batch isn't germinating well, it may be due to the soaking time. Please check this to rule out this cause.
