Recommended varieties:
- Peas: Fresh, juicy, and crisp – their flavor is reminiscent of sweet sugar snap peas. Packed with protein, all essential amino acids, as well as vitamins and minerals. Perfect for salads and on bread; very nutritious and high in protein.
- Sunflower: Nutty aroma, crisp and mild texture with a light hint of sunflower oil. Contains essential fatty acids, all amino acids, many vitamins and minerals – especially valuable for vegan and vegetarian diets.

Using coconut bricks for a 5x5 tray
One coconut brick is exactly enough for a 5x5 tray and provides the ideal base for your Microgreen .
And here's how it works:
- Place the coconut brick in your 5x5 tray.
- Add some water so that it swells up
- Wait a few minutes until the brick has fully expanded.
- Distribute the moistened substrate evenly in the tray and press it down – ready for sowing (distance between pressed-down soil and the top edge approx. 1 cm).
