Taste: The fresh green of Pak Choi has a fine pungent taste reminiscent of Chinese cabbage.
Ingredients: Sprouts of Pak Choi contain a lot of potassium and carotene, calcium, vitamin C and some B vitamins, also secondary plant compounds such as flavonoids and phenolic acid. Of course, like all cabbage plants, pak choi also contains many mustard oils (glucosinolates).
Usage: raw: in salads, on bread, for juicing, smoothies, herbal curd, with fruit or as a decoration of your dishes.
Positive properties: Pak Choi has antibiotic and germicidal effects due to the mustard oils.
Note: White micro-roots are formed, please do not confuse them with mold.
