Note: The set does not work equally well with all varieties – for best results we recommend arugula, mustard, broccoli, cress, alfalfa, radish, mizuna and radish.

No seed pads required.
Thanks to our patented planting stone, which serves as a substrate, you no longer need to buy expensive seed pads. Loose seeds cost significantly less than seed-filled hemp or coconut pads. The Microgreengrow directly on the reusable stone. Two seed packets are included, so you can get started right away.

It's that easy!
For germination, the seeds need darkness and high humidity. The micro-garden can be covered, for example, with the optional harvesting tray. After a few days, the seedlings need sunlight and can be harvested after 5 to 20 days (depending on the variety and conditions).

Grow and harvest in a cycle:
With a second Microgarden XL, you can continuously grow and harvest. We offer the optional Microgarden XL set, consisting of two planting stations. After germination, simply swap the lower and upper trays. You can repeat the germination process in the lower tray while the seedlings in the upper tray receive light and grow. This allows for a continuous growing cycle. Once the seeds in the lower tray have also germinated, you can separate the two trays.

Patented Planting Stone:
Growing Microgreenon our patented planting stone is a new innovation. Until now, soil, coconut coir, or hemp growing mats were used for growing Microgreen. This is obviously not sustainable, as these substrates are only usable once. Furthermore, waterlogging can lead to mold and unpleasant odors.
The planting stone is made of patented Porosium®^ceramic . It absorbs a large amount of water and releases it gradually. The seeds scattered on top receive ideal germination conditions, and the sprouts stay moist without any "wet feet." Because the stone stores water and automatically draws more from the base, it requires very little maintenance. After harvesting, the roots can be easily removed, and the stone is simply disinfected with hot water. It's then ready to use again. It doesn't get more sustainable than this.
