Why a cress sieve?
Certain seeds, such as cress, arugula, or basil, produce a slimy substance when germinating, making them unsuitable for sprouting jars. They germinate optimally in the Keimgrün cress sieve : the roots grow through the sieve but remain clean and well-aerated. This allows you to grow fresh Microgreenand cress without soil – always fresh and nutrient-rich.
Application: It's that easy
-
Soak the seeds (approx. 8-15 minutes, depending on the variety)
-
Distribute the seeds evenly on the sieve (approx. 2 tsp for a 13 cm diameter)
-
Cover (e.g. with a plate) and spray twice daily.
-
Remove the cover after 2-3 days and continue to rinse regularly
-
Harvest after 6-8 days – enjoy directly with roots and shoots.
