- Taste: Like most cabbages, the fresh green of rocket has a spicy flavour. Since rocket greens have a rather intense flavour, even a small amount is enough to give dishes or salads its nutty aroma.
- Ingredients: It contains a lot of mustard oils, folic acid, is rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, C and D, as well as the minerals potassium, calcium and phosphorus.
- Usage: raw: in salads, on bread, smoothies, herbal curd and goes particularly well with Mediterranean cuisine.
- Positive properties: Digestive, diuretic, the folic acid is needed for the proper functioning of red blood cells and immune cells. It is also said to prevent heart attacks, strokes and dementia.
