The mung bean is probably the most widespread type of bean in the world. It is very popular because of its above-average amount of nutrients, germinates easily and can be used and prepared very versatile. Our mung beans come from Austria and stand for the highest quality!

Taste: Fresh green mung beans have a sweet-tart, slightly bitter taste.

Ingredients: The mung beans are above average in nutrients and ingredients. The sprouts or greens of mung beans contain 60% carbohydrates, little fat, have a high content of essential amino acids, vitamins A, B1, B2, C, niacin, folic acid and especially vitamin E. They are rich in the minerals iron, potassium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus, as well as fibre, growth hormones, choline and enzymes.

Use: raw: in salads, on bread, for juicing, smoothies or to decorate your dishes, steamed as vegetables or stir-fried.

Positive properties: regulate cholesterol and blood lipid levels, relieve pain in PMS and menopausal symptoms, have a rejuvenating effect.
