Taste: The fresh greens of Broccoli Calabrese are slightly reminiscent of Chinese cabbage with its spicy, piquant taste.
Ingredients: Broccoli greens are characterized by a high content of the antioxidant sulphoraphane, a mustard oil glycoside that is beneficial to health (up to 100 times higher than in ripe broccoli vegetables). It contains mustard oil and sulfur compounds (called glucosinolates), which are known to have anti-cancer effects.
