Growing Microgreen is actually quite easy once you have mastered a few practical steps and developed a bit of sensitivity for the small germination seeds.
To make it easier for you to get started, we have developed a table of soaking times and germination times for microgreens Microgreen which saves you a lot of trial and error.
We recommend soaking larger seeds , e.g. peas , chickpeas , adzuki beans or mung beans , in water 12 hours before planting (ideally overnight). The amount of water should be approximately three times as much as the amount of seeds , as they can swell significantly.
Smaller seeds such as cress , rocket or mustard should under no circumstances be soaked . Otherwise these would form slime and would be completely unsuitable for growing microgreens Microgreen
