You have decided on our Keimgrün Microgreen starter package – then you can get started. But are you still missing step-by-step instructions for the individual varieties? No problem – we have put them together for you here. The cultivation is the same for all varieties. You just have to soak two types beforehand: pea and sunflower.
pea
- Soak the seeds between 12-14 hours (please no longer),
- Distribute your soil into your Microgreen pot and press it lightly
- Place your pot in the bowl without holes,
- Now distribute the seeds on your potting soil and water them shortly afterwards,
- Spray your seeds with food-safe diluted hydrogen peroxide solution (I use 30 ml for 1 liter of water for a 3% solution),
- Cover the seeds with something, such as a tea towel, cardboard or, ideally, another pot with a weight on top (e.g. a stone),
- Cover them every day and spray them briefly with your solution and then cover them again,
- If you notice seeds that may not sprout or are mushy when you cover them, sort them out immediately and spray that area with your hydrogen peroxide solution.
- Once the pea seedlings push up the cover tray, you can remove the cover,
- Place them in the light and water them daily until you harvest them.
