Growing instructions for Keimgrün Microgreen starter pack

You have decided on our Keimgrün Microgreen starter package – then you can get started. But are you still missing step-by-step instructions for the individual varieties? No problem – we have put them together for you here. The cultivation is the same for all varieties. You just have to soak two types beforehand: pea and sunflower.

    pea

    1. Soak the seeds between 12-14 hours (please no longer),
    2. Distribute your soil into your Microgreen pot and press it lightly
    3. Place your pot in the bowl without holes,
    4. Now distribute the seeds on your potting soil and water them shortly afterwards,
    5. Spray your seeds with food-safe diluted hydrogen peroxide solution (I use 30 ml for 1 liter of water for a 3% solution),
    6. Cover the seeds with something, such as a tea towel, cardboard or, ideally, another pot with a weight on top (e.g. a stone),
    7. Cover them every day and spray them briefly with your solution and then cover them again,
    8. If you notice seeds that may not sprout or are mushy when you cover them, sort them out immediately and spray that area with your hydrogen peroxide solution.
    9. Once the pea seedlings push up the cover tray, you can remove the cover,
    10. Place them in the light and water them daily until you harvest them.

    Sunflower

    1. Soak the seeds for between 8-10 hours (please no longer),
    2. Distribute your soil into your Microgreen pot and press it lightly
    3. Place your pot in the bowl without holes,
    4. Distribute the seeds on your potting soil and water them shortly afterwards,
    5. Spray your seeds with food-safe diluted hydrogen peroxide solution (I use 30 ml for 1 liter of water for a 3% solution),
    6. Add a thin layer of potting soil over it,
    7. Cover the seeds with something, such as a tea towel, cardboard or, ideally, another pot with a weight on top (e.g. a stone),
    8. Cover them every day and spray them briefly with your solution,
    9. After a few days you can cover your seeds completely as soon as germs have formed,
    10. Now water them and place them in the light so that the seed coats
    11. To be on the safe side, continue to spray with your solution from above,
    12. Place them in the light so that the seed coats gradually fall off.
