If you have a dehydrator at home and like to have something crunchy for snack in the evening, then Jacki's buckwheat crackers are definitely the right choice.
Ingredients for 7 tablets
- 800g peeled buckwheat
- 800g ground linseeds
- 100g peeled hemp seeds
- 4 red peppers
- 2-3 stalks of celery
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- Water
- If necessary: salt
preparation
- sprouting jar 2 evenings before , then rinse twice a day.
- Wash the peppers and celery and chop roughly into small pieces.
- Add the peppers, celery, buckwheat and chili to a high-speed blender and add water a little at a time until it becomes a liquid paste. -> Consistency: pours easily
- Pour everything into a large bowl and mix with linseed and hemp seeds -> if it's too difficult, use more water next time!
- Spread approx. 4-5 tbsp on a tray and spread it thinly (max. 4 mm high), then carefully “cut” the break lines with a knife.
- them in a dehydrator for 12 hours, then turn your crackers once so that they dry nicely on the bottom side - it usually takes another 12 hours until they are completely dry.
